Day 01-02 Delhi

Soak up the heady mix of sounds, smells and colours in this exuberant introduction to India. Explore Old Delhi and visit the impressive Jama Masjid.

Day 03: Agra

Explore the deserted city of Fatehpur Sikri then continue to Agra, site of the stunning Taj Mahal.

Day 04: Bharatpur

Take a rickshaw ride through the wetlands and forests of this serene bird sanctuary, a rare respite from the buzz of urban India.

Day 05-06: Jaipur

Drop by the majestic Amber Fort and discover the Hawa Mahal, which gleams at dusk amid the frenzy of the bazaar. Perhaps end this day with a dazzling Bollywood film.

Day 07: Mandawa

Explore the ornate havelis that date back to the days of the great camel caravans that travelled between China and the Middle East.

Day 08: Bikaner

Journey into the Thar Desert to Bikaner. See the hulking Junagargh Fort, built during the 16th century, and the Karni Mata rat temple. Enjoy an evening of traditional Rajasthani food, music and dance.

Day 09-11: Jaisalmer

The golden ornately carved stone houses of Jaisalmer make for spectacular viewing as the sun rises and sets. Get a taste of Rajasthani nomadic life on an overnight camel safari.

Day 12-13: Jodhpur

Home to the colossal Mehrangarh Fort, Jodhpur also has one of the oldest and most interesting bazaars in India. Gain insight into the fascinating traditions of the rural Rajasthani tribespeople by opting to visit the peaceful, nature-loving Bishnoi communities.

Day 14: Delhi

Explore Jodhpur’s colourful market before taking an overnight train back to Delhi.
